Nash came into our lives in the summer of 1997. He was a typical, bouncy, up for anything puppy. He was the black collared puppy among the litter, affectionately known as Black Bart. He lived up to his name for at least the first two years.

Nash is our first vizsla, our first field dog. He obtained his NAVHDA Natural Ability and Field Dog Junior titles easily but we didn't pursue anything further with him. He has never entered a show ring, never sired a litter and has lived his life as the wonderful family companion that he is. Although he is thinking about coming out of retirement to try his skills at Rally Obedience.

In the summer of 2007, Nash has a photo shoot with Artist Mia Lane and was subsequently painted for a hunting dog spread in Outdoor Canada Magazine's Fall 2007 Hunting Edition.
